Placement Agent for Isivuno Skills Agency
Isivuno have been functioning now for many years as the skills development agency for the Department of Labour. Isivuno has been contacted by the Umsobomvu Youth Fund and consequently been awarded the status of an Umsobomvu Youth Fund Agency for Recruitment and Placement as part of the Presidency’s JIPSA and ASGIDA Projects.
The aim or objective is to place unemployed youths as employees with businesses and that means in reality that we have certain procedures to follow and normal Government bureaucracy to deal with in the sense that certain forms needs to be filled in at certain times and everything that goes with it. In practise thousands of new entries into the market place happens throughout the year and our job now is to facilitate the process in the Western Cape Province and in the Northern Cape Province. At present companies are paying huge amounts for Recruitment and Placement Companies or at worst they take their chances of taking people from the street and hope for the best.
KDConnect, as a placement agent for Isivuno’s Umsobomvu Youth Fund Agency, must now assist these companies. Our function is to market this service to the companies as a FREE service. At no circumstances must and shall these services be offered to the companies in return for payment or some other benefit. It is our function to create employment and we are paid by the Fund for this function.
